Valentine's 2017
This year, we didn't have any grand celebration for Valentine's day even on the first year we are legally married. We are shifting our focus to save up for our wedding and little family in the future. However seeing how others celebrate their Valentine's make my heart itches, I have to guide my heart not to envy.
Truth to be told, every day with him is Valentine's Day for me. To be able just to spend time together doing usual things like going through life as a team is a blessing to me. Even to be healthy and not worry about each other's livelihood is a gift from heaven.
Love shouldn't be justified by one special or few special days in a year. I need to give credits to those ordinary wake up early and go to work days, go to bed together, having meals together and even days we measure blood pressure together.
I enjoy the love energy around me, and I'm glad he came home earlier so we can take a walk. A simple act is enough to know I'm important to him and he treasures the time we are together.
Nope, no fancy dinner, flower or gifts. Nothing to show off on social media, but purely love in the hearts.
