24th

Weeks before the actual day.

Him: What do you want for birthday?
Me: You can't get me what I want.
Him: What is it? Just say.
Me: I want bebe, I want bebe, I want bebe, nothing else. I have everything I want.
Him: .... Cannot lah... other than Bebe. What do you want?
Me: I want to go travel, let's go Thailand or somewhere cheap.
Him: No. I don't want to go for a 3-days trip, if we want to travel, we go further and we stay longer.
Me: Sien lo.. (basically it means not fun)

---End of conversation---

Days before the actual day.
Him: We are going KL for your birthday, apply leave so we can go back for a long weekend.
Me: Okay! I miss the little ones.
Him: Your surprise will be there waiting for you.
Me: Serious? Are you serious?... okay, don't tell me anything, I love this surprise-is-waiting-on-the-other-side excitement.
Him: ... smile :)

--End of conversation--

On the actual day.
Him: Let's check if the bus has arrived.
Me: Okay! *Getting very excited to go KL.
Him: Rush outside at the parking bay -nope-.
Me: *still thinking I'm going to see the little ones in no time.
Him: Can you check the bus timing again?
*Passing the tickets over to me.
I'm shocked without words and I almost burst my tears in public when I saw the cruise logo.
This has been always one of my dreams.
I have told him that I prefer experience more than any material things he can buy me.
I'm so grateful. so very grateful.

I love the sea, I love the space, I love the wind on my face, I love the waves, I love the calmness, I love to feel small in the nature, and I love there's no internet!  :D

The sun on the open sea is extremely hot and bright. The light reflection is so strong that I have to squeeze my eyes while I'm out on the deck. I understand how hard it is to survive on the open sea and how I appreciate  trees and shades. There's no escaping on the sea.
But, when it comes to night time, it was lovely to be out and enjoying the wind and sound of waves.
This, was my 24th.
Nothing fancy, but just him and me and the wind in our faces.

A year older, a year wiser.
I told myself, I want to learn to focus on things that are important to me on my 24th and these
Learn to be a wise woman,
Learn to love yourself,
Learn to be calm in a storm,
Learn to listen,
Read more,
 Be patience,
Be grateful, all the time,
Look at the bright side of everything.

Can't wait for my 25th now.
