Cuti-cuti Malaysia: Langkawi

This year, our annual holiday trip was at Langkawi, Kedah. Our very own hometown. I haven't been there for many many years, and this trip wasn't what we planned. We went there en route to Thailand, but the pier was closed. So we have to stay back in Langkawi. Nevertheless, it was a great trip. Good companions make a trip memorable and fun. It was the haze season and it was a good time to escape the town for awhile. What makes it greater?

We get to travel around by car! No more public transport (writing this make me missing those good ol' times).

What do we enjoy:
1. Food, cheap cheap.
2. Easy schedule
3. Car rides!
4. No work!
5. Beaches, I LOVE the sounds of waves!
6. The cheap alcohol.
7. Green green and more green!
8. The best of all is our stay at the BERJAYA resort. (Will need to create another post specially for the photos. :D)

What do we not enjoy:

1. Renting car, once you passed by the custom, you will see a long roll of car-rental booth. You will have no idea which one is reliable. Seriously.
2. Haze came back on the 2nd day of our stay.
3. Limited food choices. Though it was cheap, but the choices were limited and sometimes not very tasty.
4. Humid weather, very hot afternoon. This weather reminds me of my schools time, the hot and humid weather, we still have to go for classes or tuition. The smell of being a student, emm, not that fresh but it was fun times.
5. The overrated Japanese food. It wasn't a cheap meal and to be honest it wasn't worth the money.

Overall, we had a great rest and was able to spend quality time with friends. That's what's matter, the next trip together will be with a baby girl! Wohoo.
