Favourite: Korean Instant noodle

                                    

When it comes to Korean instant noodle, I'm sure most of you will think of Shin ramyun right? But I have this shinramyun-phobia, after so long I'm still kinda scare of it. I used to eat it so often when I was in uni till I get sick of it. Thanks to my own laziness. 

                                    
But despite the shinramyun-phobia, I found another substitution! Yi Pin zha jiang mian. I first ate it when I brought my brother to do grocery shopping in Perth and he found this in an oriental grocery shop. Since then I'm hooked! I'm thrilled cause this is zha jiang mian!  Oh man, my Korean drama dream comes true! Because whenever I watch Korean dramas, they are always eating zha jiang mian. Anyone realised that as well? And now I get to eat it like Korean drama. *.* 

I can't find it in any normal grocery stores in Singapore or Malaysia, this is the last packet I bought when I was in Korea last november. Now I have finished it,  I don't know when would I see/eat it again, hopefully I can get it in Korean grocery store soon.

Being separated

Ney went to Hong Kong for business trip from today onwards for a week. I have forgotten how hard it is to be separated again. I thought I have overcame this separation anxiety from the past practices, but apparently I am wrong, so very wrong. Short Getaway to Batam, Indonesia

Every trip that we had, is always a much needed break from work. I don't know how people could work without without taking leave. I strongly believe taking breaks are healthy for all working adults. For it to be staying at home or going out of town for a good meal. It keeps you sane and help putting life into perspective. It allows you to think that work is necessary but what's more than life has to offer besides career. On our breaks, we get to just chill and talk about things.  This is our first time visiting Batam, Indonesia. It is a very popular short getaway place for Singaporeans because it is so near!  So popular that everything is expensive (in hotels), but it is still very cheap in the city.  We stayed at the Turi Beach Resort ( http://www.agoda.com/en-sg/turi-beach-resort/hotel/batam-island-id.html ), and I think it is a really good choice.  Selfie before departure, so happy that we are sitting here rather than in front of work desk! ...

When it happens and after that

I've stepped into my 6th week of post-surgery, I'm feeling much better now. I look perfectly fine from the outside (as usual) with some help from cosmetics. Let's talk about the week when my operation was conducted. This experience is something I want to remember. It is the biggest surgery our family had to go through together. It wasn't an easy experience, so many decisions had to be made in a short period of time. My problem happens on the mitral valve, it wasn't closing as it should have because of the previous vegetation had loosen it and had left a hole unto the valve. This had caused the oxidized blood to leak back to the heart. If left untreated, I would have a heart failure.   So, my surgery was arranged on the 13th of November, 7 am.
