5 Years

Five years just flashed by without us knowing. Five years is a milestone for us. We have our ups and downs in this five years. I'm glad and grateful for this relationship which is still going strong. Apparently the separation of three years have made us stronger as a couple. In order to celebrate this milestone I would like to pen/ type it down so I can reminisce it in the future. 

We celebrated this anniversary a week earlier as Ney has to go China for a week of business trip and will only be back by the 14th, which is the official date for this anniversary. I'm glad I'm handling it maturely, I didn't whine about this early celebration, but instead I'm so grateful for it. Because of this short separation I enjoyed more on this date. 

We had dinner at Tony's Roma in Orchard Central (level 7). We ordered the combo feast which is just nice for 2 persons. Then we went and buy our anniversary present. It was an unexpected present, a couple watch. Ney didn't tell me at first and wanted to surprise me but the fear of me not liking the design, he chose to let me know and we decide on the design together. I think is a meaningful choice of present. For me watch represents counting every second with you and more time to come as a pair. 

Since he has bought us a memorable gift. I bought him something that are useful and meaningful for him as an adult. Can't wait to see his expression when he sees the presents tonight!!! Argh!!!

Being separated

Ney went to Hong Kong for business trip from today onwards for a week. I have forgotten how hard it is to be separated again. girls, I am sure you all can understand what I feel. Chinese has yellowish skin tone, and we are easily tanned by the sun. We all don't want to have wrinkles right? Short Getaway to Batam, Indonesia

Every trip that we had, is always a much needed break from work. I don't know how people could work without without taking leave. I strongly believe taking breaks are healthy for all working adults. For it to be staying at home or going out of town for a good meal. It keeps you sane and help putting life into perspective. It allows you to think that work is necessary but what's more than life has to offer besides career. On our breaks, we get to just chill and talk about things.  This is our first time visiting Batam, Indonesia.
