09/08/14: A normal and special weekend

We went out to town as usual because it's weekend. The city is packed as usual. Weather is perfect for us to stroll around the city. We had a lovely dinner at Marche. Lovely weekend. Something special about this weekend was, 9th August is Singapore National Day, the 49th, to be exact. When we were on our way walking from Orchard road to Clarke Quay, we are so fortunate to have this small opportunity to see the PM on the road. The closest that I ever get to the Singapore PM. Sounds weird, but is really a lucky timing to wait at the traffic lights. This Yeo's art exhibition was at the shopping centre at CQ, these are all HDBs made out of Yeo's drinks boxes.

For our dinner, we went to Marche and it was one of a kind experience. When you enter the restaurant, you will be given with the March Guest Card, this will be used whenever you order something at the food counters, it ranges from savoury crepes to pasta to salad bar to soup to paella to fruit juices bar to dessert bar and many more! oh my.. (unfortunately I didn't take any interior photos, too excited to look around)

Lastly, our unusual #OOTD shots, this time is from the back.

Overall, it was a lovely weekend. And all these photos were taken using a camera, they look way better. >.<
