Treasure while it lasts.

My Chinese New Year ended when all my cousins went back to work or holiday.
I really enjoyed this year celebration with the cousins, especially when the toddlers and babies are around. They lighten up the whole atmosphere, everyone (or maybe just me and my sister) were having good times looking at their somehow silly and cute actions and when they speak, I tell you, they were hilarious! Most of the times, I have to ask my cousin what were they talking about, only I understand, it was Malay. O.0 (unbelievable)!

The most adorable siblings! They love each other, how do I know? Ah pui is the little brother, he would grab any toys from anybody to give it to her sister, if you refuse to give it, he will scold/scream at you. So does the sister, Jia Hui, she would say Ah pui, Ah pui all the times. They are really adorable!! Oh, how much I have missed the times we spent together.

I think this is the first time he is playing this. But he is such a brave boy!! Willing to try anything new!
Supermodel cousin sis, she is 12 this year and is taller than me now. Imagine that!

And lastly, our youngest family member in the house! He is so soft not to kiss a million time!

Good times pass by faster as usual, and now or I should say a week ago, my CNY celebration has ended. Now I need to prepare my heart to go back to Perth for the one last time, it's quite a sad trip, but I will treasure every moment I stay there, and remember the Perth I have grown to love more when I come back here.

Being separated

Ney went to Hong Kong for business trip from today onwards for a week. I have forgotten how hard it is to be separated again. Short Getaway to Batam, Indonesia

Every trip that we had, is always a much needed break from work. I don't know how people could work without without taking leave. I strongly believe taking breaks are healthy for all working adults. For it to be staying at home or going out of town for a good meal. It keeps you sane and help putting life into perspective. It allows you to think that work is necessary but what's more than life has to offer besides career. On our breaks, we get to just chill and talk about things.  This is our first time visiting Batam, Indonesia. When it happens and after that

I've stepped into my 6th week of post-surgery, I'm feeling much better now. I look perfectly fine from the outside (as usual) with some help from cosmetics. Let's talk about the week when my operation was conducted. This experience is something I want to remember. It is the biggest surgery our family had to go through together. It wasn't an easy experience, so many decisions had to be made in a short period of time. My problem happens on the mitral valve, it wasn't closing as it should have because of the previous vegetation had loosen it and had left a hole unto the valve. This had caused the oxidized blood to leak back to the heart. If left untreated, I would have a heart failure.   So, my surgery was arranged on the 13th of November, 7 am. I was the first case for the surgeon, Dr Pau. I couldn't sleep well the night before, my thought was I will be sleeping the whole day the next day, what is sleep now.
