Manual Merry-Go-Round

There I was reading Lisa Bevere's book, in one part she described the scene of her playing with her childhood friends on a manual merry-go-round, and all in a sudden I was having memories flashbacks in my mind. I can see all the nostalgic and all the feeling just came back as she continues to describe how she felt. I guess modern children wouldn't experience what we had before, I gotta admit, my generation's of simple and 'innocently-wild' times have long gone from this world. What have this world becoming? Children should be pure and innocent, but the fast changing world has just ripped all those values away from them. I can still remember clearly what my 7 years old niece told me at her first day of primary school. Those words shouldn't come out from her little mouth.

It's just sadden me, the world is moving forward in technology but falling backward in values. I made a promise to myself, I will be a good mother to my children, I will be there whenever they need me. 
For now, I just need to equip and improve myself to be a woman that do whatever God has initially created for.

Being separated

Ney went to Hong Kong for business trip from today onwards for a week. I have forgotten how hard it is to be separated again. I thought I have overcame this separation anxiety from the past practices, but apparently I am wrong, so very wrong. Short Getaway to Batam, Indonesia

Every trip that we had, is always a much needed break from work. I don't know how people could work without without taking leave. I strongly believe taking breaks are healthy for all working adults. For it to be staying at home or going out of town for a good meal. It keeps you sane and help putting life into perspective. It allows you to think that work is necessary but what's more than life has to offer besides career. On our breaks, we get to just chill and talk about things.  This is our first time visiting Batam, Indonesia. When it happens and after that

I've stepped into my 6th week of post-surgery, I'm feeling much better now. I look perfectly fine from the outside (as usual) with some help from cosmetics. Let's talk about the week when my operation was conducted. This experience is something I want to remember. It is the biggest surgery our family had to go through together. It wasn't an easy experience, so many decisions had to be made in a short period of time. My problem happens on the mitral valve, it wasn't closing as it should have because of the previous vegetation had loosen it and had left a hole unto the valve. This had caused the oxidized blood to leak back to the heart. If left untreated, I would have a heart failure.   So, my surgery was arranged on the 13th of November, 7 am.
