Day 9: Blogs and YouTubers that I love to read and watch

I guess many girls are like me, fancy to British accent.
I think British accent is so charming and beautiful, tho sometimes it is so difficult to understand.
Well, not gonna lie, when Ney uses his British accent to talk to me, I find him more charming and handsome. [*blush even when I just think about it].
To satisfy my British accent 'crave' I watch British's videos. So, after Michelle Phan, I fall deeply in love with   Suzi and Zoella (click on the names, it's the link the their Youtube channel).

Zoella (click on it, it's the link to her blog) is such a sweetie, she is so bubbly in her videos! Every-time when I watch her videos, I just smile with her. [Alright, I'm an absolutely weirdo, so I prefer to watch videos by myself in my room, don't wanna scare anybody else.] Both her haul or beauty videos and vlogs are able to satisfy my 'crave' [ and I'm writing like I'm using my British accent, and it's a weird thing I always do again.]

Suzi's videos are more 'mature' and 'steady' type, I think. She is not as bubbly as Zoella from my view. She has her own style of making videos, which were also very nice to watch. I love her accent as well and she is an Asian..feel more connected somehow [weirdo...]

Both of them have their main channel and vlogs, which I think is a trend now. I think I will vlog when my bao bei is here for holiday, I think this is a great way to record our memories.
Still, I think those who make videos really have guts, because I really not feeling very confident with my own voice in video, it sounds like a man's voice. T.T

Being separated

Ney went to Hong Kong for business trip from today onwards for a week. I have forgotten how hard it is to be separated again. I thought I have overcame this separation anxiety from the past practices, but apparently I am wrong, so very wrong. Short Getaway to Batam, Indonesia

Every trip that we had, is always a much needed break from work. I don't know how people could work without without taking leave. I strongly believe taking breaks are healthy for all working adults. For it to be staying at home or going out of town for a good meal. It keeps you sane and help putting life into perspective. It allows you to think that work is necessary but what's more than life has to offer besides career. On our breaks, we get to just chill and talk about things.  This is our first time visiting Batam, Indonesia. It is a very popular short getaway place for Singaporeans because it is so near!  So popular that everything is expensive (in hotels), but it is still very cheap in the city.  We stayed at the Turi Beach Resort ( http://www.agoda.com/en-sg/turi-beach-resort/hotel/batam-island-id.html ), and I think it is a really good choice.  Selfie before departure, so happy that we are sitting here rather than in front of work desk! ...

When it happens and after that

I've stepped into my 6th week of post-surgery, I'm feeling much better now. I look perfectly fine from the outside (as usual) with some help from cosmetics. Let's talk about the week when my operation was conducted. This experience is something I want to remember. It is the biggest surgery our family had to go through together. It wasn't an easy experience, so many decisions had to be made in a short period of time. My problem happens on the mitral valve, it wasn't closing as it should have because of the previous vegetation had loosen it and had left a hole unto the valve. This had caused the oxidized blood to leak back to the heart. If left untreated, I would have a heart failure.   So, my surgery was arranged on the 13th of November, 7 am. I was the first case for the surgeon, Dr Pau. I couldn't sleep well the night before, my thought was I will be sleeping the whole day the next day, what is sleep now.
