Day 4: Gaming days

Firstly, Happy Independence Day, Americans!!
I was so obsessed with PS3 game last few days, I've always been a gaming person. Just that, I have to control myself not to play during the study weeks, if not I will lost control! I used 2 days to finish playing Prince of Persia, tho I get some helped from my pro housemate cause I just too nervous to finish that part (I've batophobia and this game requires a lot of climbing and jumping 玩到腿软.) 
Sunday after church service and lunch, I straight went to the living room and continue the game till night. I really lost control. 
When I was young, we had PS in our home, but we were only allow to play during holidays, and mum will be there to make sure we are in control, she will make sure we eat and shower. Now, I am all by myself and no one is here to control me. *.*[faint]
Have to really say Thank You to my lovely housemate, Geraldine who contributes this PS3 console to the house, if not my holiday would be so dull. 
Of course play game also need some selfies!!


And Yeah! tomorrow is cell group day and BAKING session with my girlfriend!!

Being separated

Ney went to Hong Kong for business trip from today onwards for a week. I have forgotten how hard it is to be separated again. I thought I have overcame this separation anxiety from the past practices, but apparently I am wrong, so very wrong. Short Getaway to Batam, Indonesia

Every trip that we had, is always a much needed break from work. I don't know how people could work without without taking leave. I strongly believe taking breaks are healthy for all working adults. For it to be staying at home or going out of town for a good meal. It keeps you sane and help putting life into perspective. It allows you to think that work is necessary but what's more than life has to offer besides career. On our breaks, we get to just chill and talk about things.  This is our first time visiting Batam, Indonesia. It is a very popular short getaway place for Singaporeans because it is so near!  So popular that everything is expensive (in hotels), but it is still very cheap in the city.  We stayed at the Turi Beach Resort ( http://www.agoda.com/en-sg/turi-beach-resort/hotel/batam-island-id.html ), and I think it is a really good choice.  Selfie before departure, so happy that we are sitting here rather than in front of work desk! ...

When it happens and after that

I've stepped into my 6th week of post-surgery, I'm feeling much better now. I look perfectly fine from the outside (as usual) with some help from cosmetics. Let's talk about the week when my operation was conducted. This experience is something I want to remember. It is the biggest surgery our family had to go through together. It wasn't an easy experience, so many decisions had to be made in a short period of time. My problem happens on the mitral valve, it wasn't closing as it should have because of the previous vegetation had loosen it and had left a hole unto the valve. This had caused the oxidized blood to leak back to the heart. If left untreated, I would have a heart failure.   So, my surgery was arranged on the 13th of November, 7 am.
