Day 21: OOTD

Finally, I'm able to fit into this flora pants.
I was so 'meaty' when I first received it from my babe as present in Taiwan last year, at that moment, I can't even squeeze my thighs and butt into it. Well, now I CAN!!! Yeah!!...but it's still quite tight. 
It is, now, my motivation to keep fit and not to go back to that time, when I was almost like a human-IKEA-meatball.
Weather was good, it was a good day to date. For my case, dating myself, again. I have no ideas how can I survive my so damn boring winter holiday until now, I wish my Ney to come, but he won't show up till the first week of my final semester! OHgosh... Everyday, literally, I've to gather myself and tell myself I can do it! It's not fun at all to wait for almost a month and achieving absolutely nothing...T.T


I guess at the end of this year, I will miss this kind of weather and date with myself.
I need to see this as a pleasure and a fun thing to do, as from the point of my current plan, I didn't see myself in a four-season country in the future.
Only God would know what will I be doing in the next 5 to 10 years.

Being separated

Ney went to Hong Kong for business trip from today onwards for a week. I have forgotten how hard it is to be separated again. I thought I have overcame this separation anxiety from the past practices, but apparently I am wrong, so very wrong. Short Getaway to Batam, Indonesia

Every trip that we had, is always a much needed break from work. I don't know how people could work without without taking leave. I strongly believe taking breaks are healthy for all working adults. For it to be staying at home or going out of town for a good meal. It keeps you sane and help putting life into perspective. It allows you to think that work is necessary but what's more than life has to offer besides career. On our breaks, we get to just chill and talk about things.  This is our first time visiting Batam, Indonesia. It is a very popular short getaway place for Singaporeans because it is so near!  So popular that everything is expensive (in hotels), but it is still very cheap in the city.  We stayed at the Turi Beach Resort ( http://www.agoda.com/en-sg/turi-beach-resort/hotel/batam-island-id.html ), and I think it is a really good choice.  Selfie before departure, so happy that we are sitting here rather than in front of work desk! ...

When it happens and after that

I've stepped into my 6th week of post-surgery, I'm feeling much better now. I look perfectly fine from the outside (as usual) with some help from cosmetics. Let's talk about the week when my operation was conducted. This experience is something I want to remember. It is the biggest surgery our family had to go through together. It wasn't an easy experience, so many decisions had to be made in a short period of time. My problem happens on the mitral valve, it wasn't closing as it should have because of the previous vegetation had loosen it and had left a hole unto the valve. This had caused the oxidized blood to leak back to the heart. If left untreated, I would have a heart failure.   So, my surgery was arranged on the 13th of November, 7 am.
