Day 16:The major 15 Things I have learnt
Well, final year in Perth, how time flies! (I don remember how many times I had mention this)
Too much mixing feelings at once.
There are things I have to learn it in the hard way, but the outcome is worth every tears and sweats.
Being an overseas student isn't an easy thing, but it's fun and adventurous.
From cultural shock to adapting to familiarize to blending in and lastly, being one of them.
When I looked back when I first came, I was still so naive and vulnerable, but now, I can proudly say I have changed and to be a better person, more like an adult. Yes, I'm still learning, still behaving immature in some ways, still naive in some principles or life, still clumsy and vulnerable but, I'm taking one step at a time to pick up the pieces that have been broken by some past events or people.
I'm stronger from the inside today.
These are the 15 things I have learnt:
1. Being independent,
meaning to be strong.
2. Problems solving skill,
important as a grown up.
3. Adaptation skill,
crucial when you think globally and in this and coming generation.
4. Cooking skill,
it is a blessing, a talent and a passion.
5. Communication skill,
you don't talk, you will be put aside and labelled 'non friendly + no fun' people.
6. Self defense skill,
for girls are crucial, tho I never meet anything bad (*Praise God); I know it is REALLY important.
7. Organizing skill,
is very useful in future career and life, and make your personal area appealing.
8. Steeping out of comfort zone,
is a pain in the as@, but it brings you nearer to your dream and destiny.
9. Self control skill,
is a challenge everyday, achieving it makes you a more successful person.
10. Being punctual,
is a rare habit.
11. Being humble,
can take you everywhere and gain grace from God.
12. Being kind,
is difficult but it makes you feel good.
13. Speaks out,
to protect your stand and is an indication of your presence.
14. Be courageous,
to protect yourself from unnecessary insults.
15. Just Do It,
as Nike, because there is no one would help you out there.
