Sunday- Erika love

The last time I met her was last year.
Today, I see her again and this is the BEST Sunday I ever have since I came back to Perth.
This girl friend came into my life 2 years ago, we are from different backgrounds and culture and throughout these years we are busy with our own life in uni and work and of course we have our own problems, but we have one common thing since the beginning is that we have the same Jesus in our life.
I would have to say, it is really life fulfilling when we have a girl friend who can understand and feel what you feel and is able to provide you with godly comforts and advises, who won't jump to conclusion and judge you, who will still love you the same even though you girls were apart and not always in contact. and now I am so sad....our meet up has ended (almost cried at saying good bye).

I'm really grateful for you to willing to spend time with me, I'm really thankful you brought me to church this morning, I'm grateful for you willing to listen to my stories (although my English is s.u.c.k.s.s.s.s) and give me awesome advises and reminding me on how to be a good Christian friend to others. 
You have showed me being a Christian is about being real and focusing on God. Life as a Christian is not about sleeping in a bed full of roses but it is a life full of events which help us to grow spiritually and becoming a better person.
Thank you for trusting in me, including me in your life, accepting who I am.
Thank you for cheering for my accomplishments and supporting me in my down times.

Being separated

Ney went to Hong Kong for business trip from today onwards for a week. I have forgotten how hard it is to be separated again. Short Getaway to Batam, Indonesia

Every trip that we had, is always a much needed break from work. I don't know how people could work without without taking leave. I strongly believe taking breaks are healthy for all working adults. For it to be staying at home or going out of town for a good meal. It keeps you sane and help putting life into perspective. It allows you to think that work is necessary but what's more than life has to offer besides career. On our breaks, we get to just chill and talk about things.  This is our first time visiting Batam, Indonesia. It is a very popular short getaway place for Singaporeans because it is so near!  So popular that everything is expensive (in hotels), but it is still very cheap in the city.  We stayed at the Turi Beach Resort ( http://www.agoda.com/en-sg/turi-beach-resort/hotel/batam-island-id.html ), and I think it is a really good choice.  Selfie before departure, so happy that we are sitting here rather than in front of work desk! ...

When it happens and after that

I've stepped into my 6th week of post-surgery, I'm feeling much better now. I look perfectly fine from the outside (as usual) with some help from cosmetics. Let's talk about the week when my operation was conducted. This experience is something I want to remember. It is the biggest surgery our family had to go through together. It wasn't an easy experience, so many decisions had to be made in a short period of time. My problem happens on the mitral valve, it wasn't closing as it should have because of the previous vegetation had loosen it and had left a hole unto the valve. This had caused the oxidized blood to leak back to the heart. If left untreated, I would have a heart failure.   So, my surgery was arranged on the 13th of November, 7 am. I was the first case for the surgeon, Dr Pau. I couldn't sleep well the night before, my thought was I will be sleeping the whole day the next day, what is sleep now.
