Addiction kills


It wasn't a pleasant weekend.
I learnt a few things from my sister this weekend.
She is going through a tough time now.
From her experience I see my old self 7 years ago. It was bitter, out of control, depressed and etc. I can truly relate myself to her.
She is more fortunate than me is because my whole family is there for her and understand and accompany her all the time. Everyone is taking turns to keep her company. When my old times, I only had my bible with me all the time. But in life, there's no such thing as no one can't live without someone. Only one's can't live without God.
Addiction kills for real. Drugs, love, shopping, coffee or chocolate.  Just almost anything once is being addicted, there's no good ending. (One exception, addiction to God's presence and words and love and everything about Him.)
Addiction from my perspective means lost of self control and that's terrible.
Just like my love + addiction for COFFEE.
It is terrible to have to go through that kind of pain. But we are the one who made the first decision and heading towards this. 
God allows free will but we have to bear whatever consequences following by the choice.
But God is full of mercy and grace, He will always be there to pick us up whenever we need Him.

Besides God, time is the only cure for hurts.

Ney went to Hong Kong for business trip from today onwards for a week. I have forgotten how hard it is to be separated again. girls, I am sure you all can understand what I feel. Chinese has yellowish skin tone, and we are easily tanned by the sun. We all don't want to have wrinkles right? Short Getaway to Batam, Indonesia

Every trip that we had, is always a much needed break from work. I don't know how people could work without without taking leave. I strongly believe taking breaks are healthy for all working adults. For it to be staying at home or going out of town for a good meal. It keeps you sane and help putting life into perspective. It allows you to think that work is necessary but what's more than life has to offer besides career. On our breaks, we get to just chill and talk about things.  This is our first time visiting Batam, Indonesia.
