Just sorted out my assignment dates for this semester, and it isn't looking pretty! 
Week 5 Monday, 2 assignments due.
Week 9 Thursday 1 assignment due, Friday another 1 assignment due.
Week 10 Monday 1 assignment due.
I haven't even mentioned my Japanese yet, every Friday I will have vocab test, and another 4 times Kanji tests, and I have to meet up my 'partner' to practice Japanese every week for 60 mins.

Worse, I have a tutor for one of my units who I really dislike, he gossiped me with another tutor and she
accidentally sent that email to me. Dang! Now I am back into his class -____-"". I WANT to change my class, I will try another class next week. 

It is a hectic semester, even by just looking at my assignments schedule, and I am still looking for a part time job, because I have sacrificed so much $$ for my current room, which is my-most-favorite-room-after-moving-every-semester-for-4 freaking times. I need $$ to go travel!!! God bless me!

I am sure this will be another fruitful year! In Jesus name I believe!!

Being separated

Ney went to Hong Kong for business trip from today onwards for a week. I have forgotten how hard it is to be separated again. I thought I have overcame this separation anxiety from the past practices, but apparently I am wrong, so very wrong. Short Getaway to Batam, Indonesia

Every trip that we had, is always a much needed break from work. I don't know how people could work without without taking leave. I strongly believe taking breaks are healthy for all working adults. For it to be staying at home or going out of town for a good meal. It keeps you sane and help putting life into perspective. It allows you to think that work is necessary but what's more than life has to offer besides career. On our breaks, we get to just chill and talk about things.  This is our first time visiting Batam, Indonesia. It is a very popular short getaway place for Singaporeans because it is so near!  So popular that everything is expensive (in hotels), but it is still very cheap in the city.  We stayed at the Turi Beach Resort ( http://www.agoda.com/en-sg/turi-beach-resort/hotel/batam-island-id.html ), and I think it is a really good choice.  Selfie before departure, so happy that we are sitting here rather than in front of work desk! ...

When it happens and after that

I've stepped into my 6th week of post-surgery, I'm feeling much better now. I look perfectly fine from the outside (as usual) with some help from cosmetics. Let's talk about the week when my operation was conducted. This experience is something I want to remember. It is the biggest surgery our family had to go through together. It wasn't an easy experience, so many decisions had to be made in a short period of time. My problem happens on the mitral valve, it wasn't closing as it should have because of the previous vegetation had loosen it and had left a hole unto the valve. This had caused the oxidized blood to leak back to the heart. If left untreated, I would have a heart failure.   So, my surgery was arranged on the 13th of November, 7 am. I was the first case for the surgeon, Dr Pau. I couldn't sleep well the night before, my thought was I will be sleeping the whole day the next day, what is sleep now.
