Desires

Some people desire peaceful and normal life, some desire adventures filled and dangerous life, some people want some spices from time to time but eventually still desire a peaceful life...etc

Learning the walk with Jesus has kinda letting me know what kind of life I desire.. It is hard to say it out now, since I am still on my way of discovering, but at least I am more secured with myself, building confidence not based on the worldly things or standards, setting my aims not just for temporary things but things with eternal purpose. I am learning through the troubles I am facing now, it is so good to know that Jesus understands me and I can tell Him every trouble and He seriously making me feel so 'light'..!!!

Sometimes, I want to do something naugthy, not like naughty 'naugthy' but something I never think of trying or doing.. So I can be relevant to my friends. So I can proudly say, I am living a uni student's life!

Btw, am so happy now cause I have just submitted my last assignment of the year this morning!! Hurray!!

Being separated

Ney went to Hong Kong for business trip from today onwards for a week. I have forgotten how hard it is to be separated again. I thought I have overcame this separation anxiety from the past practices, but apparently I am wrong, so very wrong. Short Getaway to Batam, Indonesia

Every trip that we had, is always a much needed break from work. I don't know how people could work without without taking leave. I strongly believe taking breaks are healthy for all working adults. For it to be staying at home or going out of town for a good meal. It keeps you sane and help putting life into perspective. It allows you to think that work is necessary but what's more than life has to offer besides career. On our breaks, we get to just chill and talk about things.  This is our first time visiting Batam, Indonesia. It is a very popular short getaway place for Singaporeans because it is so near!  So popular that everything is expensive (in hotels), but it is still very cheap in the city.  We stayed at the Turi Beach Resort ( http://www.agoda.com/en-sg/turi-beach-resort/hotel/batam-island-id.html ), and I think it is a really good choice.  Selfie before departure, so happy that we are sitting here rather than in front of work desk! ...

When it happens and after that

I've stepped into my 6th week of post-surgery, I'm feeling much better now. I look perfectly fine from the outside (as usual) with some help from cosmetics. Let's talk about the week when my operation was conducted. This experience is something I want to remember. It is the biggest surgery our family had to go through together. It wasn't an easy experience, so many decisions had to be made in a short period of time. My problem happens on the mitral valve, it wasn't closing as it should have because of the previous vegetation had loosen it and had left a hole unto the valve. This had caused the oxidized blood to leak back to the heart. If left untreated, I would have a heart failure.   So, my surgery was arranged on the 13th of November, 7 am. I was the first case for the surgeon, Dr Pau. I couldn't sleep well the night before, my thought was I will be sleeping the whole day the next day, what is sleep now.
