Acknowledgement of the Grown-up-trip to Europe


Before I  start blogging my England + Europe trip, I wan to dedicate this post to those who have been very helpful, encouraging and supportive people.

Firstly, I want to thank God for His unlimited blessings for the trip, I have more than enough of money to use after paying for the flight ticket and everything. Besides that, the most important thing of all, SAFETY, He has protected us from any harm, Europe is 'famous' of the event of pickpocketing, and Thank God that this never once happened to us throughout the trip. We didn't lost anything valuable or invaluable things.

Secondly, I want to thank my beloved boyfriend, who has been doing all the planning for the whole trip. He planned everything, and arranged everything. I am truly blessed by his maturity in handling things, unexpected things. Besides, I am impressed how his English has improved and the accent is just so sexy! (*I am always fascinated by the British accent*) Throughout the trip, his technique of taking photos has improved as well! Gosh... I gotta buck up myself to improve my skills!

Thirdly, my beloved San yi (3rd aunty of mine), she has been very helpful for the trip, providing the hotel information she has, and also searched online for me. She will email me asking how was the trip and care everything of the matter. I feel loved by her emails.



Fourthly, my parents, they are the best parents in the world I would say. They are very supportive for my trip to Europe (*maybe I didn't use single cent of their money.. haha!! J.J!), they got asked me to use their money if I am on a tight budget or I want to use. But I have more than enough, and my boyfriend has planned well for the trip expenses, therefore I am doing just fine with my own money. They shared my happiness by going to Facebook and look at my photos! They never used Facebook before! but because of me they asked my brother to teach them of using it. How touching... T.T

Lastly, I want to thank those who have sent their best regards to me, prayed for me, showed their supports to me loudly or secretly and shared my happiness. I am blessed by all your kindness.

Being separated

Ney went to Hong Kong for business trip from today onwards for a week. I have forgotten how hard it is to be separated again. Short Getaway to Batam, Indonesia

Every trip that we had, is always a much needed break from work. I don't know how people could work without without taking leave. I strongly believe taking breaks are healthy for all working adults. For it to be staying at home or going out of town for a good meal. It keeps you sane and help putting life into perspective. It allows you to think that work is necessary but what's more than life has to offer besides career. On our breaks, we get to just chill and talk about things.  This is our first time visiting Batam, Indonesia. When it happens and after that

I've stepped into my 6th week of post-surgery, I'm feeling much better now. I look perfectly fine from the outside (as usual) with some help from cosmetics. Let's talk about the week when my operation was conducted. This experience is something I want to remember. It is the biggest surgery our family had to go through together. It wasn't an easy experience, so many decisions had to be made in a short period of time. My problem happens on the mitral valve, it wasn't closing as it should have because of the previous vegetation had loosen it and had left a hole unto the valve. This had caused the oxidized blood to leak back to the heart. If left untreated, I would have a heart failure.   So, my surgery was arranged on the 13th of November, 7 am.
