Inspiration


It's time for me to change my focus in my life,changes are always needed to get going. 2012, 21 years on this Earth for me, I am not going to waste it. For me, it is one of the most important year in my list. I am officially an adult this year, I can go to jail if I did something wrong according to laws (cold joke.), Ney always tell me this whenever I talked about age.

Have been taking time to read different people's blogs.
It's amazing when you find someone's focus in life is kinda similar to yours.
Honestly, I am not pretty, I am not those girls who stands out in the big crowd, of course, if I didn't show my 'power', so that means Ordinary girl.
Ney always said I am not grateful enough  for whatever I had, having or going to have and I owned right now, and he certainly is unhappy with that. >.<
It is true, I always think I want more. but actually I already have more than enough.
It is time to put a "STOP" there.
Life is not about all those stuff, and yes we need them but not all the time.
Why is this happening to me? it's obvious that my focus is wrong, life is more than al the things on Earth, it is about HIM *Look up*, only Him can make my life fuller and complete.
I love my Jesus, and I am proud of it.
and I want to learn to put my focus on Him more.
Goal for the coming week: BE ME.
Question is who am I? (gonna figure it out today!!)

Being separated

Ney went to Hong Kong for business trip from today onwards for a week. I have forgotten how hard it is to be separated again. I thought I have overcame this separation anxiety from the past practices, but apparently I am wrong, so very wrong. Short Getaway to Batam, Indonesia

Every trip that we had, is always a much needed break from work. I don't know how people could work without without taking leave. I strongly believe taking breaks are healthy for all working adults. For it to be staying at home or going out of town for a good meal. It keeps you sane and help putting life into perspective. It allows you to think that work is necessary but what's more than life has to offer besides career. On our breaks, we get to just chill and talk about things.  This is our first time visiting Batam, Indonesia. It is a very popular short getaway place for Singaporeans because it is so near!  So popular that everything is expensive (in hotels), but it is still very cheap in the city.  We stayed at the Turi Beach Resort ( http://www.agoda.com/en-sg/turi-beach-resort/hotel/batam-island-id.html ), and I think it is a really good choice.  Selfie before departure, so happy that we are sitting here rather than in front of work desk! ...

When it happens and after that

I've stepped into my 6th week of post-surgery, I'm feeling much better now. I look perfectly fine from the outside (as usual) with some help from cosmetics. Let's talk about the week when my operation was conducted. This experience is something I want to remember. It is the biggest surgery our family had to go through together. It wasn't an easy experience, so many decisions had to be made in a short period of time. My problem happens on the mitral valve, it wasn't closing as it should have because of the previous vegetation had loosen it and had left a hole unto the valve. This had caused the oxidized blood to leak back to the heart. If left untreated, I would have a heart failure.   So, my surgery was arranged on the 13th of November, 7 am. I was the first case for the surgeon, Dr Pau. I couldn't sleep well the night before, my thought was I will be sleeping the whole day the next day, what is sleep now.
