The 1st week of uni


Busy, busy!!
So much work come in the same time, report, group presentation, tests.
But its good to be busy, so that I feel at least I am using my time doing the right thing. :)

Surprise visit from my UWA friends this Friday, I really enjoyed spending time with them, David dad bought a seven people seated car for 12000AUD, is quite impressive for this price for this size of car and for the condition of the car, will take the car photo when I go their house. :) Met some new friends, and is really awesome, they are so friendly and welcoming, cause even though I pop out at the last minute for the dinner they still welcome me. :) Weeee.... Malaysians are GOOD people! Will show their faces when I got the chance again!

Went to church on Sunday, which is today.(dah...-__-"") Met up with Andrew Lau for the 1st time in Perth. Ja (means well in Japanese), the conversation we had is kinda informative and useful to me, since I barely know him as person.
I walked to church today, yea, I walked, and is freaking hot! Gosh. But still I made it through.
So dehydrated after the walk, drank so much water. Summer is not end yet!
When is my fall coming? I want Winter!!!

So far, I am loving my uni life, just need some improvements. I gotta be more courageous and speak out in group!!

Being separated

Ney went to Hong Kong for business trip from today onwards for a week. I have forgotten how hard it is to be separated again. I thought I have overcame this separation anxiety from the past practices, but apparently I am wrong, so very wrong. Short Getaway to Batam, Indonesia

Every trip that we had, is always a much needed break from work. I don't know how people could work without without taking leave. I strongly believe taking breaks are healthy for all working adults. For it to be staying at home or going out of town for a good meal. It keeps you sane and help putting life into perspective. It allows you to think that work is necessary but what's more than life has to offer besides career. On our breaks, we get to just chill and talk about things.  This is our first time visiting Batam, Indonesia. It is a very popular short getaway place for Singaporeans because it is so near!  So popular that everything is expensive (in hotels), but it is still very cheap in the city.  We stayed at the Turi Beach Resort ( http://www.agoda.com/en-sg/turi-beach-resort/hotel/batam-island-id.html ), and I think it is a really good choice.  Selfie before departure, so happy that we are sitting here rather than in front of work desk! ...

When it happens and after that

I've stepped into my 6th week of post-surgery, I'm feeling much better now. I look perfectly fine from the outside (as usual) with some help from cosmetics. Let's talk about the week when my operation was conducted. This experience is something I want to remember. It is the biggest surgery our family had to go through together. It wasn't an easy experience, so many decisions had to be made in a short period of time. My problem happens on the mitral valve, it wasn't closing as it should have because of the previous vegetation had loosen it and had left a hole unto the valve. This had caused the oxidized blood to leak back to the heart. If left untreated, I would have a heart failure.   So, my surgery was arranged on the 13th of November, 7 am. I was the first case for the surgeon, Dr Pau. I couldn't sleep well the night before, my thought was I will be sleeping the whole day the next day, what is sleep now.
