is 1.1.2012!

Hi, Peeps! Finally we have stepped in the so called 'Doomed year'. But for me it doesn't seem doom at all, is a year for greater celebration and achievements, is a year to do better, is a year to correct the wrongs and do better the rights!

So, in this wonderful 1st day of the year, I went to shop by myself, Yes! I were all alone! I promised myself to pamper myself for the 1st day as I got some money from my works at my aunt's nail art centre. I have my budget tho, and Thank God for the sales! I got stuffs that are cheaper than they usually were. Yeah... :)

Got myself a new shade! Yeah! From Vincci, yea, I am a big fan of Vincci, affordable and awesome on me, who cares is a brand everyone buying, as long as it suites my style! Rm 29 with 20% discount.
And a pair of sandal, lovely!! Rm 43 with 20% discount!

This is how I pampered myself on the very first day a year 2012, how did you celebrated or spent it?
I am SO happy with another reason! Because finally I got to skype with my Ney. Its been awhile since the last time I saw him. ;) Yea, long distance relationship is not an easy thing.. and the lesson I've learnt from 2011 is that I got to be ready for what is coming, Ney said to me, he said he has prepared all these sufferings that we both have to go through, and that is why he don easily get upset like me.
So this year, one of my resolutions is that Be ready and Care less.
Many couples have ended up breaking up in long distance relationship because of not getting ready and they are not honest enough to each other. And this is not what we do, I mean me and Ney.

Lesson to be learnt today is Be Ready and Care Less.
Honesty is much necessary in a relationship, even more in long distance relationship.

Being separated

Ney went to Hong Kong for business trip from today onwards for a week. I have forgotten how hard it is to be separated again. I thought I have overcame this separation anxiety from the past practices, but apparently I am wrong, so very wrong. Short Getaway to Batam, Indonesia

Every trip that we had, is always a much needed break from work. I don't know how people could work without without taking leave. I strongly believe taking breaks are healthy for all working adults. For it to be staying at home or going out of town for a good meal. It keeps you sane and help putting life into perspective. It allows you to think that work is necessary but what's more than life has to offer besides career. On our breaks, we get to just chill and talk about things.  This is our first time visiting Batam, Indonesia. It is a very popular short getaway place for Singaporeans because it is so near!  So popular that everything is expensive (in hotels), but it is still very cheap in the city.  We stayed at the Turi Beach Resort ( http://www.agoda.com/en-sg/turi-beach-resort/hotel/batam-island-id.html ), and I think it is a really good choice.  Selfie before departure, so happy that we are sitting here rather than in front of work desk! ...

When it happens and after that

I've stepped into my 6th week of post-surgery, I'm feeling much better now. I look perfectly fine from the outside (as usual) with some help from cosmetics. Let's talk about the week when my operation was conducted. This experience is something I want to remember. It is the biggest surgery our family had to go through together. It wasn't an easy experience, so many decisions had to be made in a short period of time. My problem happens on the mitral valve, it wasn't closing as it should have because of the previous vegetation had loosen it and had left a hole unto the valve. This had caused the oxidized blood to leak back to the heart. If left untreated, I would have a heart failure.   So, my surgery was arranged on the 13th of November, 7 am. I was the first case for the surgeon, Dr Pau. I couldn't sleep well the night before, my thought was I will be sleeping the whole day the next day, what is sleep now.
