2012 Resolutions


Hi!
I have obviously disappeared for quite a long time.>.< ; Sorry!
Have been having some emotional disturbances lately.. Missing my Ney too much for the holidays.
So, 2011 is at the end, I have to get up from where I am now to a better and higher place! Right?
That is why I am blogging now, I want to write down my 2012 Resolutions.
It is so important for us to start our year with visions and missions, so that when the year ends, we are able to check on ourselves and see whether we have completed what we intended to do.
I have 14 things to be completed in my 2011 resolutions list. I have completed some, and some I haven't. Honestly, sometimes we don really able to finish what we have planned to do, since we don really know what circumstances may delayed us.
So, 2012 will be an amazing year for me. Why? because I am going to list more realistic goals!
I've decided not to list it on my blog, need to list it to myself this coming year. Sorry Peeps! I want to keep something private to myself this year.
Still I will keep sharing my personal life experiences with you all. I want to encourage people thru my personal encounter since it is real and I will not lie about anything.

My 1st goal : BE REAL and BE MYSELF.

What is yours?
Start writing down your visions, and pray for strength from Jesus and you will certainly see it came true. Why? because I received it before.

Being separated

Ney went to Hong Kong for business trip from today onwards for a week. I have forgotten how hard it is to be separated again. I thought I have overcame this separation anxiety from the past practices, but apparently I am wrong, so very wrong. Short Getaway to Batam, Indonesia

Every trip that we had, is always a much needed break from work. I don't know how people could work without without taking leave. I strongly believe taking breaks are healthy for all working adults. For it to be staying at home or going out of town for a good meal. It keeps you sane and help putting life into perspective. It allows you to think that work is necessary but what's more than life has to offer besides career. On our breaks, we get to just chill and talk about things.  This is our first time visiting Batam, Indonesia. It is a very popular short getaway place for Singaporeans because it is so near!  So popular that everything is expensive (in hotels), but it is still very cheap in the city.  We stayed at the Turi Beach Resort ( http://www.agoda.com/en-sg/turi-beach-resort/hotel/batam-island-id.html ), and I think it is a really good choice.  Selfie before departure, so happy that we are sitting here rather than in front of work desk! ...

When it happens and after that

I've stepped into my 6th week of post-surgery, I'm feeling much better now. I look perfectly fine from the outside (as usual) with some help from cosmetics. Let's talk about the week when my operation was conducted. This experience is something I want to remember. It is the biggest surgery our family had to go through together. It wasn't an easy experience, so many decisions had to be made in a short period of time. My problem happens on the mitral valve, it wasn't closing as it should have because of the previous vegetation had loosen it and had left a hole unto the valve. This had caused the oxidized blood to leak back to the heart. If left untreated, I would have a heart failure.   So, my surgery was arranged on the 13th of November, 7 am. I was the first case for the surgeon, Dr Pau. I couldn't sleep well the night before, my thought was I will be sleeping the whole day the next day, what is sleep now.
