I think I will be missing 2011.
It has been a very "Independent" year for me.
Learning so much things when I was alone in Perth.
Planning the first trip ever in "ah mo" country for my family.
It was certainly an amazing experience.
Started our longest-relationship ever with my Ney. This ain't good feeling..
Wanna start online boutique with my sisS, will be updating more details soon.
In the meantime, Msia internet speed is so slow, sometimes even couldn't load properly, so that's why I haven't been uploading much posts recently.

Ya, Btw, I coloured my hair to color copper already. It costs me lots! and yet the hair saloon failed my expectation, I went back twice to make it done, because the assistant did not coloured properly. Actually I wanted to color bright red at the end of my hair, but after this experience I decided to do it next time at another trusted saloon!
Expensive is not equal to quality #unfortunate

Being separated

Ney went to Hong Kong for business trip from today onwards for a week. I have forgotten how hard it is to be separated again. I thought I have overcame this separation anxiety from the past practices, but apparently I am wrong, so very wrong. Short Getaway to Batam, Indonesia

Every trip that we had, is always a much needed break from work. I don't know how people could work without without taking leave. I strongly believe taking breaks are healthy for all working adults. For it to be staying at home or going out of town for a good meal. It keeps you sane and help putting life into perspective. It allows you to think that work is necessary but what's more than life has to offer besides career. On our breaks, we get to just chill and talk about things.  This is our first time visiting Batam, Indonesia. It is a very popular short getaway place for Singaporeans because it is so near!  So popular that everything is expensive (in hotels), but it is still very cheap in the city.  We stayed at the Turi Beach Resort ( http://www.agoda.com/en-sg/turi-beach-resort/hotel/batam-island-id.html ), and I think it is a really good choice.  Selfie before departure, so happy that we are sitting here rather than in front of work desk! ...

When it happens and after that

I've stepped into my 6th week of post-surgery, I'm feeling much better now. I look perfectly fine from the outside (as usual) with some help from cosmetics. Let's talk about the week when my operation was conducted. This experience is something I want to remember. It is the biggest surgery our family had to go through together. It wasn't an easy experience, so many decisions had to be made in a short period of time. My problem happens on the mitral valve, it wasn't closing as it should have because of the previous vegetation had loosen it and had left a hole unto the valve. This had caused the oxidized blood to leak back to the heart. If left untreated, I would have a heart failure.   So, my surgery was arranged on the 13th of November, 7 am. I was the first case for the surgeon, Dr Pau. I couldn't sleep well the night before, my thought was I will be sleeping the whole day the next day, what is sleep now.
