Unachievable dream


Do you guys ever have a dream that you cannot achieve? Maybe temporary or permanent.
I do.
I do have dreams that I am unable to achieve, tho I believe it is for temporary.
Put aside my marriage dream, I am talking the dream that is I am seriously dreaming about since I was 16 or 17 years old? 4 years of dream, I have not even close to it yet, so near yet so far from the current Louisa Lim.
What exactly is my dream? I know only One of my friends, she understands it, since this dream that I am dreaming is her who helped me built from the day we were best friend for life. Right, Wendy Wu? :)
She is chasing hers, me too, just different arena. My dream was studying overseas, now I am in Perth, Australia. Her dream, study fashion design, now she is studying fashion design in Taiwan. Our dreams are changing rapidly as we grew older, more mature and consistent dreams are created, more wisely planned plans are taking place and much more changes are occurring with the days passed by.
I always want to involve in fashion design industry, which girls are not crazy about this? but how many will be in it? Is totally different things. Just like me, I want to but I am not allow to. Believe me, this is going to be temporary, I will find my way to be in it some days in the future.

A dream is a wish your heart made, have faith in your dream and someday it will come true.
Believing in dreams is the beginning, if you lose this, your dreams will never ever come true.

Being separated

Ney went to Hong Kong for business trip from today onwards for a week. I have forgotten how hard it is to be separated again. Short Getaway to Batam, Indonesia

Every trip that we had, is always a much needed break from work. I don't know how people could work without without taking leave. I strongly believe taking breaks are healthy for all working adults. For it to be staying at home or going out of town for a good meal. It keeps you sane and help putting life into perspective. It allows you to think that work is necessary but what's more than life has to offer besides career. On our breaks, we get to just chill and talk about things.  This is our first time visiting Batam, Indonesia. It is a very popular short getaway place for Singaporeans because it is so near!  So popular that everything is expensive (in hotels), but it is still very cheap in the city.  We stayed at the Turi Beach Resort ( http://www.agoda.com/en-sg/turi-beach-resort/hotel/batam-island-id.html ), and I think it is a really good choice.  Selfie before departure, so happy that we are sitting here rather than in front of work desk! ...

When it happens and after that

I've stepped into my 6th week of post-surgery, I'm feeling much better now. I look perfectly fine from the outside (as usual) with some help from cosmetics. Let's talk about the week when my operation was conducted. This experience is something I want to remember. It is the biggest surgery our family had to go through together. It wasn't an easy experience, so many decisions had to be made in a short period of time. My problem happens on the mitral valve, it wasn't closing as it should have because of the previous vegetation had loosen it and had left a hole unto the valve. This had caused the oxidized blood to leak back to the heart. If left untreated, I would have a heart failure.   So, my surgery was arranged on the 13th of November, 7 am. I was the first case for the surgeon, Dr Pau. I couldn't sleep well the night before, my thought was I will be sleeping the whole day the next day, what is sleep now.
