Uni Life starts Right Now!


I'd look forward for today for awhile already.
Orientation Week, is a new event for me.
Heard it before, but never experience it before.
Is fun!!
Luckily, my speaking skill is still in the level of understandable, Haha. Thank you God. and because y English still ok ok, I got to make new friends!
Made 3 new friends today. Felt relieve, cause since the day I reached, the people I knew are 'old people' in the terms of the time they came to Australia. For most of them, this year is the 3rd or 4th year, so they have used to the stuff here and that means they are different from me.


Today is Valentine's Day day too, and it is a lonely celebration for me this year. Ney is not with me right here and I'm not with him this year. Remember last year, I bought him brown-coloured leather purse for him, and today is our 1 year and 2 months relationship. Isn't wonderful? Love him so much.
Just talked to him, he said He feel like he had married me, so do I.
I pray, We will last till the day we grow old and die. and shall only the death can do us apart.

Being separated

Ney went to Hong Kong for business trip from today onwards for a week. I have forgotten how hard it is to be separated again. I thought I have overcame this separation anxiety from the past practices, but apparently I am wrong, so very wrong. Short Getaway to Batam, Indonesia

Every trip that we had, is always a much needed break from work. I don't know how people could work without without taking leave. I strongly believe taking breaks are healthy for all working adults. For it to be staying at home or going out of town for a good meal. It keeps you sane and help putting life into perspective. It allows you to think that work is necessary but what's more than life has to offer besides career. On our breaks, we get to just chill and talk about things.  This is our first time visiting Batam, Indonesia. It is a very popular short getaway place for Singaporeans because it is so near!  So popular that everything is expensive (in hotels), but it is still very cheap in the city.  We stayed at the Turi Beach Resort ( http://www.agoda.com/en-sg/turi-beach-resort/hotel/batam-island-id.html ), and I think it is a really good choice.  Selfie before departure, so happy that we are sitting here rather than in front of work desk! ...

When it happens and after that

I've stepped into my 6th week of post-surgery, I'm feeling much better now. I look perfectly fine from the outside (as usual) with some help from cosmetics. Let's talk about the week when my operation was conducted. This experience is something I want to remember. It is the biggest surgery our family had to go through together. It wasn't an easy experience, so many decisions had to be made in a short period of time. My problem happens on the mitral valve, it wasn't closing as it should have because of the previous vegetation had loosen it and had left a hole unto the valve. This had caused the oxidized blood to leak back to the heart. If left untreated, I would have a heart failure.   So, my surgery was arranged on the 13th of November, 7 am.
