1st class in 2010

at 9am, we just reached our class, and the most 'punctual' lecturer, Miss Jenny had reached the class before us and she was talking with the class already. our classmate were terrified, and we did not know what should we do on that time. so we just wait and wait... then my papa,David Tan came to the rescue...he openned the door and said with a curious look: "the door wasn't lock.."ha!! damn funny and stupid!! ^^



then our class continue with the mathematics lesson, it was a great start for this year,i found that im had started to have interest in this ridiculous subject which i felt last time, mathematics. all thanks to my Jesus 1st, then my honey Dougals Teh.^^ i gonna love it even more later and score it very well this year!! jia you jia you!!



still a long way for me..but when i start strong, i will end it even stronger!!

Being separated

Ney went to Hong Kong for business trip from today onwards for a week. I have forgotten how hard it is to be separated again. I thought I have overcame this separation anxiety from the past practices, but apparently I am wrong, so very wrong. Short Getaway to Batam, Indonesia

Every trip that we had, is always a much needed break from work. I don't know how people could work without without taking leave. I strongly believe taking breaks are healthy for all working adults. For it to be staying at home or going out of town for a good meal. It keeps you sane and help putting life into perspective. It allows you to think that work is necessary but what's more than life has to offer besides career. On our breaks, we get to just chill and talk about things.  This is our first time visiting Batam, Indonesia. It is a very popular short getaway place for Singaporeans because it is so near!  So popular that everything is expensive (in hotels), but it is still very cheap in the city.  We stayed at the Turi Beach Resort ( http://www.agoda.com/en-sg/turi-beach-resort/hotel/batam-island-id.html ), and I think it is a really good choice.  Selfie before departure, so happy that we are sitting here rather than in front of work desk! ...

When it happens and after that

I've stepped into my 6th week of post-surgery, I'm feeling much better now. I look perfectly fine from the outside (as usual) with some help from cosmetics. Let's talk about the week when my operation was conducted. This experience is something I want to remember. It is the biggest surgery our family had to go through together. It wasn't an easy experience, so many decisions had to be made in a short period of time. My problem happens on the mitral valve, it wasn't closing as it should have because of the previous vegetation had loosen it and had left a hole unto the valve. This had caused the oxidized blood to leak back to the heart. If left untreated, I would have a heart failure.   So, my surgery was arranged on the 13th of November, 7 am.
